Welcome to Muskegonʼs Lakeside Community on the southern shore of Muskegon Lake! Home of charter fishing boats, the cross lake express car ferry, beautiful parks with bike and walking trails along Muskegon Lake and Pere Marquette Beach
With a 2 night stay at the Lodge, a gift basket awaits your arrival. For those who like to participate in adult beverages we offer two bottles of wine or some beer to help you relax. For others we offer a basket of comfort food and a doggy basket for your four-legged family members.
McGraft Park sits 2 blocks from the Lodge. The park offers disk golf, tennis, and shuffle board courts (bring your own disks). A basketball court, a ball field, playground, and off-shore fishing. There are free music concerts every week in the summer. A beautiful location, McGraft Park and Ruddiman Pond are a very popular choice for wedding and graduation photos.
Lake Michigan offers Salmon, Brown & Lake Trout, Steel Head and Walleye fishing. Several charter fishing boats and a boat launch are available within walking distance from the Lodge. Muskegon Lake is also within walking distance and offers great fishing for Bass, Perch, Bluegill and Walleye. There are two places to fish from shore within walking distance of the Lodge and a few places to fish from shore for night fishing of Walleye.
Pere Marquette Beach has been listed as one of the top 5 beaches, with the cleanest sand, in the world. Bring your dogs to play because there is a special Doggy Beach that provides miles of walking and swimming for the entire family. Enjoy 2 walking piers with 4 lighthouses. Pere Marquette Beach is also home to the famous WW II Silverside Submarine and Museum
Sunrises & Sunsets
Lake Michigan can offer some of the most beautiful sunsets, easily viewed from the Pere Marquette Beach only two miles from the Lodge. Personally I enjoy the Sunrises more they seem to last longer with an awesome variety of patterns of bright pinks and blues.
Nothing like capping off the end of the day sharing a campfire with your family friends and pets. Let the marshmallows and hot-dogs roast while the stories fly around the flames and sparks that provide your personal fireworks.
The most beautiful of the Great Lakes. Lake Michigan offers hundreds of miles of walk-able beach, the best Salmon fishing, and awesome sunsets.
Muskegon's Channel and Pier
One of Michigan’s most beautiful channels with two walking piers offering stunning views of Lake Michigan, sunrises and sunsets.
Visit the famous submarine that helped win World War II. Silverside offers daily tours and a museum.
